Recipient of the L.A. Times Critics Choice Award for his performance of Lt.  Angel in the revival of “Mrs. Cage”, John also showcased with the Blank Theatre Company’s Young Playwrights Festival in “Storms”.  His film work has been featured with directors Michael Schultz, Vicki Jenson, and Mark Fergus.  His work in the Indie market has been showcased at film festivals including Tribeca, Sundance, Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival and the Hollywood Black Film Festival.  John’s work also includes episodic television as well as notable national commercials.  His performance at the Edinburgh College of Art in Edinburgh, Scotland during the Fringe Festival led to an ongoing stage performance at Volupte in London, England.
